60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

The 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival takes place 2–10 July 2026 in Karlovy Vary. The festival ranks among the most prestigious film events in Central and Eastern Europe and annually draws world-class filmmakers, stars and thousands of audiences.

The main competitive section, the Crystal Globe, presents feature-length films competing for the top award. Alongside it, the festival offers dozens of further sections — documentaries, animated films, artistically ambitious cinema and retrospectives of celebrated directors. Screenings take place at the Grandhotel Pupp and other venues throughout the Karlovy Vary centre.

This year marks the milestone 60th edition. Tickets are available online and at festival box offices.
