97th Karlovy Vary Double Mile of the Karlovy Vary Region

Sunday, 14 June 2026 belongs to horse racing at the Holoubek Hippodrome in Karlovy Vary. From 13:30, spectators can enjoy a full race programme of approximately eight races, the highlight being the 97th Karlovy Vary Double Mile of the Karlovy Vary Region — a Category I race over 3,200 metres. Race day is traditionally regarded as a major cultural and social event of this spa town and offers entertainment for the whole family.

The programme includes flat and steeplechase races at approximately thirty-minute intervals, with the full programme lasting around 3.5 hours. Spectators can follow the races from covered stands and cheer for their favourites right beside the track. The racecourse is accessible by city bus lines 1 and 2; parking is available at the OC Varyáda shopping centre.

The venue features the U Šimla restaurant with a terrace overlooking the course and a golf course, as well as fast food stalls. Free entry for children under 12; reduced admission for young people aged 12–18 and seniors over 60. Arriving 30–45 minutes before the first race is recommended.
