Art Klub Junior

Art Klub Junior is the arts education programme of Galerie umění Karlovy Vary for children, held every Wednesday during the school year at Becherova Villa. Sessions run from 14:30 to 16:00 and are led by a gallery educator, often in collaboration with invited artists.

The club aims to develop creativity, empathy and critical thinking in children through encounters with visual art, hands-on making, and guided tours of exhibitions at Becherova Villa. Individual sessions combine a short theoretical introduction with a practical art activity.

Enrolment is compulsory. Participation requires a completed registration form submitted at the Becherova Villa ticket desk or to the instructor; the form (Art_Klub_Junior_jaro_2026_prihlaska.pdf) is available for download on the organiser's website. The course consists of 10 sessions plus 1 free session; price 1,000 CZK per course, adjusted pro rata if joining mid-cycle. Individual session: 100 CZK.
