AVE MARIA – Karolína Janů & Linda Sítková

The organ concert from the AVE MARIA series takes place in the Church of St Mary Magdalene (nám. Svobody 1) in Karlovy Vary, a Baroque church designed by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer whose acoustics are ideal for vocal and organ repertoire. The concert begins at 7:30 PM and lasts approximately one hour.

Soprano Karolína Janů and organist Linda Sítková will perform selected works by J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, G. F. Handel, F. Mendelssohn, L. Vierne, A. Dvořák, Ch. Gounod, Ch. M. Widor and F. Schubert. The programme features sacred vocal and organ compositions.
