Ave Maria – Karolína Janů & Linda Sítková

The organ recital from the Ave Maria series takes place at the Church of St Mary Magdalene (nám. Svobody 1) in Karlovy Vary — a Baroque church interior designed by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer whose acoustics are ideal for vocal and organ repertoire. The concert starts at 19:30 and lasts approximately one hour.

Soprano Karolína Janů and organist Linda Sítková perform a selection of works by J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, G. F. Händel, F. Mendelssohn, L. Vierne, A. Dvořák, C. Gounod, Ch.-M. Widor and F. Schubert. The programme consists of sacred vocal and organ compositions.
