Bärenstein Thomasmarkt – Cross-Border Christmas Market

The Bärenstein Thomasmarkt traditionally takes place on the third Advent weekend, 12-13 December 2026, in the shared town centre (Gemeinsame Mitte) of the twin towns Bärenstein and Vejprty.

Since 2013 the Christmas market has been organised jointly by both towns — one of the few genuinely cross-border Advent markets. Expect stalls with food and crafts, performances by local school children, live music and visits from Santa as well as the Czech Mikulas. The programme traditionally runs both days from early afternoon into the evening.
