Barokomaraton Plasy 2026

Barokomaraton is a popular autumn race held in the grounds of the historic monastery complex in Plasy near Plzeň. The 19th edition takes place on 5 September 2026. Distances on offer are 4.2 km, 10 km, half marathon (21.1 km), marathon (42.2 km), and ultra 100 km (VSK Profi Ultra).

Courses run through forest tracks and field paths in the Plzeň Region foothills, along the Střela river and across lands managed by the state forestry company Lesy České republiky. The autumnal woodland setting around the baroque monastery gives the race a distinctive atmosphere.

The organisers emphasise that the event is open to everyone — not only those chasing personal bests, but anyone who runs for enjoyment. A cultural programme, children's activities and catering are available on site. Registration is open at barokomaraton.cz.
