The Bergstadtfest in Freiberg takes place from 25 to 28 June 2026 and, with around 160,000 visitors, is one of the biggest town festivals in Saxony.
The historic centre of the silver-mining town (UNESCO Ore Mountains Mining Region) fills with live-music stages, a medieval market with crafts and period entertainment, food stalls and attractions for children. The highlight is the traditional miners' parade (Bergparade) on Sunday 28 June.
