Gateway to Doupov: Bison in the Doupov Hills

One of the largest reserves for European bison is being established in the Doupov Hills, where bison will help restore and preserve biodiversity. It follows on from successful projects that the Česká krajina society, working with scientists, has established in the former military area of Milovice and in Podyjí National Park, and from private reserves that Refugium has purchased and manages at several sites across the Czech Republic. This project will be presented as part of the Valeč – Gateway to Doupov lecture series by Dalibor Dostál from Česká krajina and Eliška Kolomazníková from REFUGIUM.
