Men Would Rather Lie

The French theatrical comedy Men Would Rather Lie by Éric Assous follows psychologist Simon, who is about to tell his wife Olívie that he is leaving her for his girlfriend Anne Catherine. His wife, however, has other plans for the evening — she invites their friend Aurélie and two of Simon's single friends. The situation is then complicated by the unexpected arrival of Anne Catherine, who announces in front of the entire company that she is expecting Simon's child. A comedy full of absurd situations and unexpected twists.

The production was directed by Antonín Procházka. The cast alternates between Saša Rašilov, Patrik Děrgel, Ivan Lupták, Markéta Děrgelová, Katrin Weitzenbauerová, Lída Rašilovová and Zuzana Vejvodová / Týna Průchová. Running time: 120 minutes.
