Chomutov Half Marathon 2026

The Chomutov Half Marathon celebrates its jubilee 10th edition in 2026. The race takes place on Saturday 29 August, starting at náměstí 1. Máje at 11:00. It is a well-loved local event with a unique course winding through Chomutov.

The main 21.1 km race takes runners through the historic city centre, around Kamencové lake, through Chomutov Zoo and along the picturesque Bezručovo valley, finishing back at náměstí 1. Máje. The shorter 7.5 km Kamencový okruh is ideal for less experienced runners. A relay option is also available.

The Chomutov Half Marathon is a traditional August event combining sporting challenge with discovery of the city and its natural surroundings. Registration at chomutovskypulmaraton.cz.
