Crazy Runners Frankenwald Trail Geroldsgrün 2026

The Crazy Runners Frankenwald Trail is a family-friendly trail race organised by TSV Dürrenwaid in the heart of Frankenwald Nature Park in northern Bavaria. It takes place on Saturday 25 July 2026, starting and finishing at the TSV Dürrenwaid sports ground, Silberstein 64, Geroldsgrün.

Four competitive distances are on offer: Mini Trail 8 km (200 m elevation, start 14:00), Short Trail 15 km (450 m, start 13:30), Long Trail 30 km (1,000 m, start 12:00) and Ultra Trail 52 km (2,000 m, start 09:00). All courses run on 95% natural trails and paths through the Frankenwald. New for 2026: ITRA points are awarded for qualifying distances, and a Greenhorn Trail category is added for complete beginners.

Geroldsgrün lies in the picturesque northern Bavarian foothills of the Frankenwald, approximately 50 km from the Czech-Bavarian border near Cheb. Registration at datasport.de.
