Ends: Sunday, 24 May 2026, 18:00
Galerie umění Karlovy Vary

The Karlovy Vary Art Gallery hosts its Open Day on Sunday 24 May 2026 from 13:00. Admission to all exhibition spaces is free on this day. The programme for children and adults was created in cooperation with ZUŠ Antonín Dvořák and ZŠ and ZUŠ Karlovy Vary–Rybáře.

The creative workshops draw on the permanent collection of Czech 20th-century art and the Roman Franta exhibition, which presents works in the vein of hyperrealism and free-brushwork painting. The afternoon concludes with a puppet show by Divadlo Studna — the fairy tale The Proud Princess (Pyšná princezna). A guided tour of the exhibition with the artist himself also takes place.

Admission: free. Event organised in cooperation with the Statutory City of Karlovy Vary.
