Open Forests Day at Boží Dar

The fifth Open Forests Day at Boží Dar takes place on Saturday 23 May 2026 from 13:00 at the Timber Yard by the Myslivny water treatment plant. It is part of the nationwide event organised by the Union of Forest Owners (SVOL), in which approximately 30 organisers across the Czech Republic take part.

The programme offers an experiential afternoon for the whole family: games, nature activities, forestry and equipment demonstrations, horse-drawn logging, nature trails, forest education and craft workshops for children. The event is under the patronage of Minister of Agriculture Martin Šebestyán.

In Boží Dar, the event is jointly organised by the Town of Boží Dar, Sachsenforst s.p. and the Boží Dar Hunting Association. Parking is available at the venue. More information at www.denotevrenychlesu.cz.
