Theatre Picnic in Most

Divadelní Piknik is one of the most important amateur theatre festivals in the Czech Republic. The national drama and musical theatre festival takes place in 2026 from 30 June to 7 July in Most. Organisers are the Czech Ministry of Culture, the National Information and Advisory Centre for Culture (NIK), and the Municipal Theatre in Most.

Over eight days, the city of Most transforms into a large open-air stage. Companies from across the country will perform at several venues: Střed Park, Radniční Park, 1. náměstí square, the Municipal Theatre in Most (MDM), the Divadlo Rozmanitostí, and the ZUŠ Francisca L. Gassmana arts school. Outdoor performances are usually free to attend; some productions take place in theatre halls.
