Excalibur Race – OCR at Duchcov Castle

Excalibur Race is a series of obstacle course races (OCR) held at historic castles across the Czech Republic. The third race of the 2026 season takes place at Duchcov Castle (nám. Republiky 202/9, 41901 Duchcov) on 26–28 June 2026, under the theme "In the Footsteps of Giacomo Casanova". The race is open to competitors of all fitness levels, children aged 6 and over, and dog owners.

Competitors choose from six formats. MOON OCR (~4 km, 15 obstacles) is a night race run with headlamps. SKY OCR (~6 km, 20 obstacles) is a moderately demanding daytime route. HELL OCR (~8–12 km, 30 obstacles) is the series' toughest challenge. Children aged 6–9 have Kids I (1 km), those aged 10–13 have Kids II (2 km). The DOG OCRC (~6 km) category allows competing alongside a dog.

Races run in two systems: OCR Race (every obstacle must be conquered on the first attempt, with time penalties for failure) or OCR Open (beginner-friendly, with repeats allowed). The Excalibur Race Liga 2026 accumulates points across all four season rounds, crowning the best competitors as King and Queen at the end.

Entry fees: Kids I – 590 CZK, Kids II – 790 CZK, MOON OCR – 1,090 CZK, SKY OCR – 1,590 CZK, HELL OCR – 1,890 CZK, DOG OCRC – 1,490 CZK. Discounts of 5–20% for registering to multiple season rounds. Registration via the e-shop at excaliburrace.cz.
