The Festival of Understanding is a traditional event bringing together people with and without disabilities through music, art workshops, and shared encounters. The 2026 edition runs 26–28 May at three venues in Mariánské Lázně.

Tuesday 26 May 2026
- 9:00–11:00 and 13:00–15:00 – "Garden of Understanding – Growing Together": art-therapy and garden workshop with work from natural materials, communal painting, and symbolic gardening (Domov Pramen, Mnichov 142, Mariánské Lázně)
Wednesday 27 May 2026
- 18:00 – Bára Štěpánová and Touch of Gospel: a musical evening with a gospel atmosphere, with a workshop and discussion with Petra Gabrišková (Lesní mlýn, Třebízského 204/12, Mariánské Lázně)
Thursday 28 May 2026
- 19:00 – Baba Hed with Jaroslav Dušek: closing concert with surprise appearances by actor and improviser Jaroslav Dušek (D-Club Dyleň, Kollárova 707, Mariánské Lázně)
