FIJO 2026 – International Wind Orchestra Festival Cheb
FIJO 2026 is the 26th international wind orchestra festival in Cheb. From Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 June 2026, Czech and international orchestras and dance groups will perform at náměstí Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad, Krajinka, the Monastery Garden and the Zlatá dráha sports and recreation complex.
The organiser lists twelve orchestras and dance groups from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus, Slovakia and Poland. Visitors can look forward to an opening ceremony, a festive parade through the city, festival concerts, a majorette show, evening concerts and a closing ceremony.
The festival is organised by Kulturní centrum Svoboda Cheb with the support of the City of Cheb and the Karlovy Vary Region. The programme is subject to change.

- 19:00 – Concert for the public and festival participants, Balkan Party Band and Koala (náměstí Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad)
Friday 26 June 2026
- 16:00 – Opening ceremony with orchestras and dance groups (náměstí Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad)
- 19:00 – Welcome to Cheb: MDO Cheb, Veteráni, Dubnice, Četnická 13 (Krajinka Cheb)
Saturday 27 June 2026
- 09:00 – Festive parade through the city along Májová, třída Svobody, náměstí Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad
- 13:00 – 1st festival concert: Mariánské Lázně, Poland, Cyprus (náměstí Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad)
- 15:30 – Majorette show (Zlatá dráha sports complex – Krajinka Cheb)
- 20:00 – Concert: Hana Holišová & New Time Orchestra (Krajinka Cheb)
Sunday 28 June 2026
- 09:30 – Breakfast with the Mayor, Krnov Quintet (Monastery Garden, Cheb)
- 11:00 – 2nd festival concert: Zlín, Kolín, Poland (Krajinka Cheb)
- 14:00 – 3rd festival concert: Krnov, Hungary, Tachov (Krajinka Cheb)
- 20:00 – Wind orchestra and dance group music show and closing ceremony (Zlatá dráha – Krajinka Cheb)
