Gala Concert of Operetta Melodies

A gala concert of operetta melodies takes place on 6 June 2026 from 19:30 at the Karlovy Vary Municipal Theatre. The programme runs for approximately 120 minutes.

The festival orchestra, assembled from leading professional musicians from northern Bohemia and Prague, will perform the most celebrated operetta melodies and evergreens by Franz Lehár, Johann Strauss, Imre Kálmán, Oskar Nedbal and others. The orchestra, founded by conductor and artistic director Petr Macek, regularly accompanies leading Czech and international soloists.

Solo parts will be performed by sopranos Miriam Čížková, Venuše Zaoralová, Jana Veberová and Karolína Cingrošová; tenors Martin Slavík, Roman Krebs, Václav Barth and Milan Vlček; and basses Vladimír Jelen and Jan Ericson.

Tickets from CZK 300 are available at Karlovy Vary Info Centre branches or online. Region Card holders are entitled to a discount.
