The Insects exhibition at the Chomutov Regional Museum (náměstí 1. Máje 1) offers a fascinating glimpse into the wealth of the region's entomological collections. The display, drawn from the collections of the Teplice Regional Museum with support from the Ore Mountains destination agency, includes the largest and most comprehensive butterfly collection from the Bohemian Central Highlands, complemented by colourful and exotic species from museum holdings and in-house breeding programmes.

Visitors will discover the diversity and beauty of the region's insect life. The exhibition includes an accompanying programme and is suitable for families with children and school groups. Open until 13 September 2026.
