Museum-Science-Police Night
Museum-Science-Police Night offers an evening of discovery, experiences, interactive activities and unusual guided tours. Visitors can look forward to animated museum exhibits, robots, virtual reality, 3D printing, ciphers, crime-scene investigation, guided tours, reading by lamplight and a special programme at the Castle Tower.
The programme takes place at several locations in Karlovy Vary — at the Museum Karlovy Vary, the Hot Spring underground, the Castle Tower, the Thermal pool shelter and at the Imperial Baths.
Programme
Museum Karlovy Vary – Nová louka 23
18:00–22:00 | free admission
The main museum building offers a varied interactive programme for children and adults. Visitors can find out what happens in the museum after closing time and bring exhibits to life via QR codes. The programme also includes activities by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, robotics, virtual reality, 3D printing, ciphers, nature discovery and the crime game The Cracked Safe.
The event also includes a presentation of the project Water and Climate Around Us: Interactive Measurements and Blue-Green Infrastructure, presented by the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
Museum Karlovy Vary – Museum Director's Courtyard

In the museum courtyard, Reading by Lamplight takes place, guided by Lucie Domesová. Readings at 18:30 and 20:30.
Hot Spring Underground
18:00–20:00 | free admission
The Administration of Natural Healing Springs and Colonnades offers guided tours of the Hot Spring underground. Tours on the hour at 18:00, 19:00 and 20:00. Meeting point: the sundial.

Castle Tower
18:00–22:00 | free admission
The Castle Tower hosts an evening themed Expedition: The Night Heritage Comes Alive. Visitors become part of a living story in which they help heal a spa patient, channel mineral water to the spa houses and discover the therapeutic and historical townscape of Karlovy Vary.
Augmented reality reveals missing fragments of the spa town, and the expedition ends with an encounter with the Spirit of the Springs and its message for future generations.
The Castle Café is open from 18:00 to 22:00 with a special offer for visitors.
Thermal Pool Shelter
18:00–22:00 | free admission
The Czech Police, Regional Directorate of the Karlovy Vary Region, opens the shelter beneath the Thermal pool. Guided tours on the hour at 18:00, 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00. Meeting point: the iron-grate entrance.
Places are limited. Booking required: +420 736 754 834. Not suitable for children under 10 or for visitors with pushchairs.
Imperial Baths (Císařské lázně)
18:00–22:00
The Imperial Baths host short guided tours focusing on the building's history, architecture and restoration. Tours at 18:00, 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00. Free admission.
At 19:30, the talk With Permission to Arrest takes place. Guests include Brigadier General (ret.) Martin Baláž — former elite police officer, investigator, hostage negotiator, head of the Tempo unit and former Director of the Presidential Protection Unit — and Martina Eretová, writer, documentary filmmaker and director of the true crime series Bez lítosti, Ve službě and Za mřížemi. The evening is hosted by Štěpán Javůrek.
