Pavel Šporcl – iPalpiti in Karlovy Vary
Twenty-two internationally acclaimed musicians of the prestigious iPalpiti Orchestra will perform in June at the Hvězdy nad Vltavou festival under the founding conductor Eduard Schmieder. The orchestra brings together outstanding young artists from more than 20 countries.
During a week-long artistic residency at Cihelny Castle, the orchestra prepares chamber and solo evenings culminating in concerts in Mariánské Lázně and Karlovy Vary. The Karlovy Vary evening features Czech violin virtuoso and festival director Pavel Šporcl, a former iPalpiti fellow, as the guest soloist.
The programme offers a selection of works by European composers — celebrated and rarely performed alike — presenting music as a universal language connecting cultures and continents.
