Knights' Day at Hněvín Castle

Knights'' Day returns to Hněvín Castle in Most (Hradní 577/2) on Saturday 15 August 2026 from 11:00. A day steeped in medieval atmosphere transports visitors back to the era of King Wenceslas I and the Hrabišic dynasty.

The programme includes jousting tournaments, equestrian displays, scenes from medieval camp life, period music, dancing and juggling, and a falconry demonstration. Over two dozen performers in historical costumes entertain adults and children alike. Children can join a sock-ball "cannonball" battle; the day ends with the fairy tale "The Princess and the Dragon". A medieval fair with craft stalls, refreshments and replica siege engines — catapult and cannon — rounds out the experience.
