WATER – SIGNS / WASSER – ZEICHEN

You are warmly invited to the Czech-German exhibition project WATER – SIGNS / WASSER – ZEICHEN, which links Selb and Karlovy Vary through the symbolism of one river. The exhibition presents the work of German artist Georg Ludwig Fieger (born 1964), whose paintings appear calm and accessible at first glance yet reveal deep emotions and layers of meaning beneath the surface.

The project follows a more intimate presentation at Galerie Goller in Selb at the end of last year. The exhibition is supported by the Czech-German Future Fund.

The ceremonial opening took place on Thursday 9 April at 17:00 in the presence of the artist, gallery director Jiří Karpowicz, and curator Jan Samec.
