ZUŠ OPEN – Young Talents III.

We warmly invite you to the 10th annual national festival of elementary arts schools, taking place this year in the unique setting of Císařské lázně.

From 10:00 to 22:00, you can enjoy a rich programme showcasing young talented artists from across the Karlovy Vary Region. A total of 18 elementary arts schools are participating in the festival.

Come and enjoy a day full of art and support the young rising talents!

The programme is spread across several stages — outdoor stage, Zander Hall, Atrium, library — and includes:

• concerts by music ensembles and orchestras
• dance and theatre performances
• art workshops for the public and an exhibition of pupils from ZUŠ schools in the Karlovy Vary Region
• site-specific performances making use of unconventional spaces

The highlight of the day will be the gala evening concert featuring the Vcella cello ensemble, the Orchestra of ZŠ and ZUŠ Šmeralova, the Big Band Šmeralka and the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra.

Patron of the event for the third year in a row: Zbyněk Drda.

The event is held under the auspices of the Governor of the Karlovy Vary Region, Mgr. Petr Kubis, and the Mayor of Karlovy Vary, Ing. Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová, MBA.
