AQUAPARK Klášterec nad Ohří is an open-air summer water park on the edge of the spa town of Klášterec nad Ohří in the Ore Mountains. With pools for swimming and playing, long slides, simple sports facilities and a relaxed holiday mood, it is a practical choice for a hot day with children, friends or anyone who wants a few hours of water and sunshine by the Ohře River.

Water attractions

The centre of the site is a 25-metre swimming pool with a depth of 1.4 to 1.8 metres and starting blocks. It works for lap swimming as well as ordinary summer bathing, and the water is filtered and maintained for public-pool use.

The liveliest feature is the wild-water pool, 1.5 metres deep, where a strong current creates a moving circular flow. The current runs in 15-minute cycles each hour, so it adds a little adrenaline without needing a full water-park day.

Slide fans get three water slides of different lengths: 28, 68 and 128 metres. The longest one is among the longest in the region and gives the visit its proper aquapark feel, while the shorter slides are easier for younger swimmers.

For a slower break there is a small whirlpool for three people, switched on in five-minute intervals, and a water mushroom with a cascade that can massage tired shoulders and backs. Braver visitors can use the diving tower above a deeper pool section of 2.5 to 3.5 metres, with platforms at different heights.

Sport and time out on dry land

AQUAPARK is not only about pools. Around the water you can also use:

• Beach volleyball on a sand court
• Basketball for quick games
• Small football / futsal
• Table tennis
• Trampolines for children and active visitors

The mix makes the place good for a longer stay: children can rotate between slides and trampolines, while adults swim, rest by the water or play a casual match.

Admission is for the full day and covers the water attractions during opening hours. Payment at the entrance cash desk is cash only.

Practical information

The aquapark usually opens for the summer season from late June to late August, daily from 9:00 to 19:00. A typical visit takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on how much swimming, sliding and resting you want to fit in. No reservation is needed.

Bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection and enough cash for admission. Goggles are useful for the slides and the wild-water current. Changing rooms and sanitary facilities are available on site.
