Jindřišské Rocks – Na Strašidlech
Jindřišské skály – Na strašidlech · Potůčky 221, 362 35 Potůčky
Jindřišské Rocks, also known in climbing sources as Skály Na Strašidlech, lie southwest of Horní Blatná on a wooded mountain ridge. The existing Czech record describes their geology, landscape and local legends; the climbing scans and ČHS database add a more technical view of the same place.
What to See
ČHS lists schist walls between roughly six and twenty-five metres high, with many routes and a predominantly traditional character. The terrain includes slabs, cracks, chimneys, corners and short ridge-like passages. Fixed protection is limited to necessary places, so natural protection and judgement are part of the experience.
Practical Information
The usual approach starts in Horní Blatná, following Lesní street towards the football pitch and then forest tracks. The area is quiet but spread out; a map helps, especially when continuing beyond Blatenské dvojvěží to the other rocks. Keep the forest clean, avoid unnecessary noise and respect any current climbing restrictions.
