Park Boheminium

Park Boheminium · Krakonoš 665, 353 01 Mariánské Lázně

Park Boheminium in Mariánské Lázně is one of the most visited attractions in the Karlovy Vary Region. On the slope by Krakonoš above the spa centre, it presents detailed models of major Czech landmarks at a scale of 1:25. With more than seventy models of architectural and technical monuments from across the Czech Republic, it ranks among Europe's largest miniature parks.

The park is easy to enjoy for families with children, school groups and visitors who want to walk through a miniature Czech Republic in a single stroll. The best-known models include Karlštejn, Ještěd, Červená Lhota Chateau, Hluboká, Český Krumlov and the Hvězda summer palace. The models are not just decoration: many are made with attention to detail, scale and educational value, so the park also works as a gentle introduction to architecture and history.

What you'll see

The visit leads through an outdoor area in a natural setting above Mariánské Lázně. Because the models are spread through the grounds, you can move at your own pace, stop at individual landmarks and choose what interests you most. Children often enjoy the scale itself and the chance to compare familiar buildings in miniature. Adults will appreciate the mix of an easy walk, views of the surroundings and an overview of Czech landmarks without long travel.

You can also connect the trip with the Krakonoš area, the gondola cable car from the centre of Mariánské Lázně or a walk to Hamelika Lookout Tower. The upper station of the cable car is about 100 metres from the park entrance, which is especially practical for visitors arriving without a car.
