First Beer Spa Karlovy Vary

First Beer Spa Karlovy Vary is a playful wellness stop in the very heart of the spa district. It sits at Stará Louka 8, only a short walk from the Hot Spring Colonnade, and turns the city's long spa habit into something warmer, darker and more Czech: a private bath in oak tubs, beer on tap, home-made beer bread and a stone cellar atmosphere.

The branch belongs to the Spa Beerland network, but the Karlovy Vary setting gives it its own character. The baths occupy 18th-century cellar spaces that once stored beer barrels. Brick and stone vaults, a fireplace and hand-made wooden tubs make the visit feel less like a standard wellness room and more like a small ritual below the promenade.

The Beer Bath

The main treatment is a natural bath with beer, beer extracts and a herbal infusion. The private spa room has two hand-made oak tubs with whirlpool equipment, each holding about 1,000 litres. Beer for the bath and for drinking comes from the Krušovice brewery.

After the bath, guests rest on a wheat-straw bed by the fireplace. During the reserved time you can pour light and dark beer straight from the tap and taste beer bread baked on site. The room is reserved only for your party, so couples and small groups do not share the space with strangers.

The spa stands on Stará Louka, the main pedestrian promenade along the Teplá River. From the Hot Spring Colonnade it is less than a minute on foot; from the Main Post Office it is about five minutes.
