The Route Step by Step
START – Kynšperk nad Ohří
Starting point at the railway station in Kynšperk. Parking in the town centre.
Start of the climb
The route leaves the built-up area and enters the forest. Both variants are identical here.
Where the variants split
The paths divide here. The walking variant climbs straight up the steep slope; the pram variant switchbacks gently along forest tracks.
Chlum Sv. Maří – church
The 18th-century pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Great views of the surrounding countryside and the Ohře valley.
Descent through the valley
The route drops back to lower ground down the south-eastern slope and continues along a path beside the fields.
FINISH – Kynšperk nad Ohří
Return to the starting point in Kynšperk nad Ohří.
